If you are feeding a few people for Christmas why not try a Trevilley Farm Multi Bird Roast?
Traditionally, all the birds are boned, then placed inside the largest bird in layers and sewn up. However, this means that only the lucky few getting the middle slices of the roll get to taste every bird.
At Trevilley Farm we bone the outer bird - normally turkey or goose - and then bone and piece the smaller birds, placing them the whole length of the roll - ensuring that everyone gets to taste all the different birds within. An absolute treat and half the fun is guessing what meat you are eating!
All of our multi bird rolls are made to order depending on what size you would like and what birds you would like to use. Please do not hesitate to speak or contact us.
We are also taking orders for any of your other Christmas requirements. Note that things like ham and cheeses need to be ordered in good time to guarantee supply.
We were featured in the Western Morning News on Saturday 11th December with our multi bird rolls. The article will be on the Media page of our website should you have missed it.
Our media page also has a copy of an article about the history of Trevilley Farm that appeared in the Newquay Voice and also details of the Cornwall Life awards 2010 where we were thrilled to retain the Best Food Producer award and also win Best Independent Food Shop.
Bosue Vineyards Taster Day – Wednesday 22nd December from midday. Paul from Bosue Vineyards will be in to showcase some of his produce – including his white, red and his stunning sparkling. Be sure to pop in!
Throughout the month of December we will be conducting a Customer Survey. Whether you come to the shop once a year or every week, we would really value your opinion, so if you have not already filled one out please do so. These can be found in the shop and online.
In January we will also be launching the Trevilley Farm Loyalty Card. Cards are available now and from January you will receive a stamp for every £5 spent. When you have 20 stamps, you will receive £5 off your next shop. (avaialble in store only).
This will be the last newsletter for 2010. We would therefore like to thank you for your continued custom and wish you a very merry Christmas and a prosperous new year.
